Zytronic Extends Sales Channels for Touch Sensors in North America and Mexico

31 October 2013

Zytronic, the specialist developer and manufacturer of projected capacitive touch sensors for self-service applications, has expanded its international sales network with the appointment of additional resellers in North America and Mexico.

The company also recently announced the completion of the first phase of an investment programme to increase its production capacity. While the agreements cover all Zytronic’s products, the main focus will be on its award winning PCTTM and multi-touch MPCTTM touchscreen ranges.

SHUR Sales, based in Los Gatos, California, has been a manufacturers’ representative since 1987 and specializes in the design-in and sales of electronic and mechanical components, together with fabrication and assembly services. It will be responsible for northern California and northern Nevada.

Phoenix, whose head office is in Guadalajara, Mexico, represents electronic component manufacturers and provides design and technical support to domestic first and second tier OEMs. It has particular expertise in automotive, home appliance, lighting, industrial, medical and government applications.

Zytronic has also begun working with Calbrooke Marketing in Canada. Calbrooke is a manufacturers’ representative focused on the design of interface, control and power products.

Ian Crosby, Zytronic sales and marketing director, commented: “North America and Mexico have some of the most exciting projects for touchscreen based product development. We want to ensure that the scale and quality of our production capability is matched by our channels to market in these territories.”
