ICE 2020, ExCeL, London
4 – 6th February
In Gaming, fast, reliable and engaging interactivity are essential to ensure players continue to come back to a game. At this year’s ICE London, we will demonstrate our sleek slot machine simulator on the Eurocoin Components stand. The unit introduces two unique capabilities that will enable game designers to create even more immersive experiences for players.
The first new capability, ‘floating’ LED lighting, is featured on the unit’s main 55-inch touch sensor. The LEDs are connected and powered invisibly via a proprietary method embedded on the rear of the sensor within the viewable area of the display. This proprietary technology, also on the virtual button deck, combines ‘floating’ mechanical buttons with multi-touch technology. To further demonstrate Zytronic’s expertise in glass and in-house processing capabilities, the slot simulator has tactile features machined into the surface of the button deck. This second new capability shows how game designers can combine physical and digital technology to guide player’s fingertips across the touchscreen to ensure their eyes remain firmly focused on the exciting gameplay happening on the main screen.
“These two concepts open up completely new design possibilities for game developers and will ultimately help designers of slot machines, electronic table games and wagering terminals, differentiate themselves from the competition.” says Ian Crosby, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Zytronic.
