Furthermore, two new distributors have been appointed in Japan: KTL Corp. and Takachiho Koheki Co. Ltd.

Commenting, Ian Crosby said, “We have already enjoyed successful customer relationships in Japan for several years, and our high performance, custom designed touch sensors have been well-received in a variety of self-service applications, one of the highest profile of which were the Acure vending machines deployed in JR East railway stations around Tokyo. We see considerable future opportunities in vending, financial, leisure and industrial sectors. I am convinced that we now have the dynamic team necessary to take the business in Japan forward, and work with new customers to create interactive solutions that exceed expectations.”

Zytronic has a unique product in the touchscreen market, offering a high degree of design and volume flexibility to meet individual customer needs at all stages of their product lifecycle. The touch sensors are renowned for their ability to operate reliably in the most demanding environments.”

Saito-san added, “The appointment of KTL and Takachiho as new sales channel partners in Japan will help us better serve our Japanese customers, and especially increase our success in the industrial market.”

Both companies have extensive networks of sales offices nationally -Takachiho has 60 years’ experience in bringing the best Western technologies to the Japanese market and offers Zytronic a detailed knowledge of the country and access to potential customers. In addition, KTL has strong relationships with internationally known technology companies like Texas Instruments and Molex.
