We design and develop our own PCAP touch controller electronics based on our extensive IP and therefore, our capabilities allow us to customise our touch controller firmware to fulfil your needs.

Innovation and expertise

Zytronic’s expertise spans glass, film, lamination, electronics and PCAP touch technology. Our PCAP trademarked PCT™ and MPCT™ touch sensors combined with our developed ZXY500 series touch controllers are capable of detecting up to 100 simultaneous touches, millisecond-quick, through very thick glass and in harsh environmental conditions.

Zytronic pioneered the term ‘projected capacitance’, which is now universally known as PCAP. We continue to be at the leading edge of the development and application of advanced PCAP technology.

Our facilities include automated glass processing machines, complemented by bending and thermal-tempering ovens and specialist screen printing equipment. We can also add special firmware enhancements and optical enhancements to your touch solution design, enabling optimal performance in public-facing, industrial, healthcare and corporate settings, both indoors and outdoors.
